Dedicated to working with CEOs on corporate purpose

Adam Lury - Associate

Adam began his career in advertising and in 1987 co-founded Howell Henry Chaldecott Lury - Campaign Magazine’s Agency of the Decade in 1999.

He also built up a management consultancy practice independently of the agency dedicated to working with CEOs on corporate purpose. He worked for three years with Lord Browne just after he became CEO of BP. Other clients have included Mike Harris of First Direct and Barbara Cassani of Go. He worked as an independent political advisor to Tony Blair and his team on the articulation of the New Labour before and during the 1997 election and has since advised on a more informal basis.

He continues his management consultancy practice with a current emphasis on the third sector both in the UK and abroad. He was one of the 50 founding members of the European Council on Foreign Relations as well as being a Non Executive Director of Impower – a management consulting firm focused on the public sector - and also of The Spicery, a Bristol based food company. In addition he is a Director of Well Told Story – an Emmy award winning, transmedia social enterprise that uses entertainment to bring life skills and economic opportunities to young people in Kenya and Tanzania.
